Tomorrow ..... two years ago

Tomorrow is it already two years ago that Mango came to us. This was the beginning of a fantastic time so far. We hope that we have experienced many wonderful years with this fantastic Hamilton. Pam and Paul thanks for the confidence and friendship we have built up in those two years. Hans, Monica and Milla thanks for this great friend, you can be proud of your breeding.

I have two years long tried to use this blog to give everyone a glimpse into the daily life of Mango. I try to keep it complete.

A relax day

After the fantatic showday yesterday, it was today a relax day. This morning at 7:00 o'clock Mango found it time to wake up. So no time to sleep in on sunday. At 7:15 I was sitting in the garden with coffee, singing birds, and playing dogs.

Yes running, come boy's it's time to play.



Oooooh Mango..... congratulatiens my friend, I'am proud that you are my friend...



Mango was tired and he is going to lay down in the garden.



Ssssst the Lord is sleeping.

One of the beagles was making a joke. Mango was laughing.



And then it was time to run again.



And play on the aquility course together with Dylan.

And then at the end of the day it's time to dream again.



So a relax day was coming to an end.

Internationale rassehunde austellung Lingen

Today we are on the international show in Lingen(Germany). A long day with again great results. Mango wins Best Of Breed and at the end of the day he was placed 3th in group 6. So he did it again.

The judge, mr Boelaars, was looking at Mango.

He is very special. A lot of people love the fine character of mr Mango. Alway's happy and kissing end serious at the good moment.




After a long day the Best Of Breed dogs from group 6 are waiting to go into the main ring.



The HamiltonStóvare. It was time for Alinda and Mango to go into the ring.



When all the dogs are there, the judge(Phyllis Poduscha-Aigner) must make here decision. There are 12 dogs in the ring but she must placed three.



Alinda and Mango must run again.



It looks fantastic !!



And then the judge had make here decision. On place one the Dalmation, On two the Grand Basset and on three The HamiltonStóvare. Yes, Yes, Alinda and Mango did it again.

A lovely day with again a great result from The Lord cames to an end. And again we are both very proud of this special boy.

The lord and I in the fields

This morning I was early in the fields, with Mr Mango. It's nice weather here in Holland. It's realy spring. Mango was having a lot of fun. He was running and jumping. Sometimes it was realy a crazy lord.

Sniff around in the fields.



Through the vulcano eroption. The aircrafts may not fly. It's very special to see now aircrafts in the sky.



And yes here he is the crazy Lord.

And look at him. The Lord himself. Mr Mango !! What a fantastic dog !



And there he is again the crazy boy.



Running... Look at his muscular system.



Running and jumping makes thirsty. Drinking water out the ditch.



And then Mango smell something.



Follow the smell.



After a lovely walk it was time to go back home. In the garden Mango was doing aqility whit the beagles

Hurry up Dylan. I will also over the catwalk.



We can also do it together.



So it was again a lovely morning.

I Love the sun.

It's spring in Holland. The sun is shine the hole day. When Mango is outside he is sitting the most of the time lovely in the sun.

Operation Amherst

This time no photo's of Mr Mango. But this is also very important.

Operation Amherst.

On the night of 7th-8th April 1945 there were 702 French paratroopers in northern Netherlands trimmed. In the fighting that followed 33 men lost their lives. Partly thanks to the efforts off these brave men,Drenthe was libarated a week later.

This weekend is exactly 65 years ago that these actions took place.In Drenthe there is a lot attention for this event. Today there was a military camp set up at Assen. There were many old cars on display and there are (play)fights . Very impressive.

In the style of the times, I put the pictures in black and white.

Let's never forget what happened then. Through the heroic actions of then, we can live in freedom today. Many gave their lives for our freedom.
