This week the breeders of Mango visit us for a few days. Hans, Monica and Miranda came specialy from Zweden to meet Mango again. So they could't see how Mango was living in the Netherlands with us and his beagle friends. When they arrived in Westerbork all the beagles and Mango were standing behind the window of our home. Mango saw his breeders and I think he recogniced them. When they came into the house all the dogs were very happy. It was a special moment for them to see Mister Mango back.

It was also the first time that we met each other. After diner we made a walk with the dogs to the centre of Westerbork. Miranda the nice of Monica and Hans was falling in love with Dylan.

The next day Alinda was going with them to prissoncamp westerbork. This is an concentration camp of the second world war, near to our village. In the evening we had a diner in a restaurant in Westerbork.
The last day of the visit of Hans, Monica and Miranda we went to the village Orvelte. The buildings in this village are verry old. Everything is the same like 1900 p Chr.

Miranda and Dylan loved each other very much.

There was a lot to see. So Alinda was playing for guide and tell a lot about the historie of the village.

Mango isn't afraid for anything so when we met a witch he was very happy.

For lunch we were going to eat someting at a restaurant. Mister Mango was very tired and was sleeping on Alinda's lap.

After the lunch we said goodbye and brought Hans, Monika and Miranda on their way, the road to Germany. We had a good time with them in the Netherlands, We hope also that they have had a good time here en have seen that we take good care of Mister Mango before he is going to Pam in England.

When mango is playing with the beagles he has a lot of different faces. When we see them play we always laugh about Mango's facial exprecions.

Brussels Dogshow 2008

This weekend we went to the Brussels dogshow. Friday night we stayed over by Piet en Tineke from the beaglekennel Roepers in Brabant. So saterdaymorning we drove together with Piet/Tineke and Petra to Brussels. The show was in the Brussels Expo center. Mango was doing well. The judge gave him Very Prommissing and Best baby of Breed. Faith, the Hamilton of Petra, became Best of breed, Belgian junior winster and got crufts qualified.

Before the show Petra makes a wrong turn. So she had a painfull back. She couldn't handle Faith in the ring. Piet was now going to handle Faith. It was going very good.

Mango on the international show at Hulten

Yesterday there was the international dogshow in Hulten. We went to it with Mango, Michael to show and Dylan as visitors dog. It was een open air show. So we hoped that the weather would stay good. On the way to Hulten the rain was coming down out of the air. At the show we set up our partytent. So when it begins to rain we will sit dry. First we must show Michael. He gets second in his group, 2 ecxellent. Later in the morning it was showtime for Mister Mango. Before he stept into the show ring he must lose something.

The judge was very enthousiastic about Mango. Mango became best baby in breed (BBIB) and was awarded a very very prommising. At the end of the day he must come back in the ring for the best baby in show.

Meillion You 'll Never Now ( Faith) was also in Hulten. She became Best of Breed (BOB) CAC and CACIB.

Faith became 9th in the group.

So a long day came to an end. Next weekend we are going to the show in Brussel with Mango and Michael. We hope to qualify Michael for the Crufts. Here are some videos of Mango at the show.

I think sometimes that Mango doesn't like his own head. He was sleeping in the garden and I looked outside and Mango changed his head.

A weekend holiday in Brabant

Last weekend we had a little holiday.We were camping by Tineke en Piet (Beaglekennel Roepers) Together with Petra and Leo (Beaglekennel from Muskoka dreams)Faith, the Hamilton of Petra, our beagle Dylan and Mango were also with us. They had a lot of fun with the Roepers beagles. It was the first time for Mango and Dylan to sleep in a tent. They slept well in it. On sunday we made a walk with the Hamiltons and the beagles. We walked alongside a little lake. Here the dogs could take a swim. After the walk all the dogs are very tired and went to sleep in the shade.

After a few hot days, the weather here is now cool. When it was so hot the boys didn't want to play a lot. Now they are playing again. Little Dylan is the biggest friend of Mango. Together with Michael they run through the garden and Mango is trying to catch them both. Some times mango puts on a very ugly face( His ears are twisted) After playing they are very tired and sleep next to each other on the floor. This week for the first time Mango and Dylan are going with us to the puppyclass at the dogschool. There they will learn the most important things like: sit,stay, follow, down.

Today Mango had his first show in Holland. He started in the babyclass. Our beagles Michael and Dylan were also with us. Michael became BOB and 2nd in the group. Mango did well. The judge loved him . Mango was a good and beautifull dog.

This week I had a little holiday, so I can spend a lot of time with the dogs. Everymorning I take a walk with Mango and Michael in the forest. Mango loves to walk in the forest. He follows his nose, when he smells somthing. After every walk he still isn't tired. So he goes on playing in the garden with little Dylan. The new name of Dylan is "The King". So now we have a Lord and a King in our home.

Both puppys play a lot together. Little Dylan can walk under Mango. It's funny to see. Mango is sweet for Dylan. Mango has also played with a Gos d'Ature named Amadai, she is of a friend of Alinda.

Today we went to Petra and Leo (www.frommuskokadreams.nl) We went to get of our new beaglepup Dylan. Mango and Michael were going with us. When we were at home of Petra en Leo. Mango and Faith could play in the garden. They had a lot of fun, played together and with the beagles of Petra.

Mango's week in a short list

Last week Mango has done a lot of things. Everyday he was playing with the beagles in the garden. We have made walks with him, he has met a lot of new dogfriends. He was also going with us to the shop. And yesterday evening he has had his second show training.

Here a short list of his adventures.

Michael has burried his bone. He thought that Mango did not see what he was doing. But the little man was good awake and followed every thing that Michael was doing. When Michael was ready whit his job, Mango was going to steel the bone.

When the dogs are going to eat. The all stand around Alinda in the kitchen. When Mango is eating, he loves to eat sitting down. But when he get's meat he is standing and he eats in a big hurry because he is affraid that the beagles will get his meat.

Michael and Mango are still training for the 'european championship sofa wrestling'.
They train al lot, I think one of them must be the new champion.

On the 1th of Juni Mango had his real first show in the Netherlands. So now we are going to the showtraining with him. He learns here how to walk and stand before the judge. Yesterday was his second training it was going very good.

Tired after a busy day

Mango has helped me with the work in the garden. I have cut the grass and when I raked it together. Mango would help me.

It was very hot here for the last few day's. So I have gave the garden water.
When I put the shower on the field Mango would also help. When the water came out , he ran away.

Michael was eating a bone. Mango also wanted to eat the same bone. He is trying everything to get it. But Michael protected his bone. Mango tried and tried and in the end he got it.

This evening we went to the agillity training with Michael en Jayson. Mango was also with us to support both his friends. When I was training with the beagles Mango was sitting down near Alinda and looked at them .
Back home he was very tired en is going to sleep.

Yesterday we went to the International show of Arnhem with Michael. Mango was going also with us. It was for him very big. All the different kind of dogs. The other hamiltons of the Netherlands were here also. So I had to make a lot of photo's of Mango, Faith and Andra. Petra has showed Mango also to the judge. It was a verry good young dog. With a lot of boddy. Mango his realy first show in the Netherlands is at 1 Juni. Here are the photo's

Mango meets Max the beagle

Today Max was here for a visit. Max is the beagle who lives with us in the summer, when his owners are on their holiday. Max also loves to play with Mango. Kevin and Jayson didn't play today. It was to hot for them. Mango, Max and Michael had a lot of fun. So look at the pictures they say enough.
